Finally, Devina apologizes to Megan and Filipinos...

Finally, Devina apologizes to Megan and Filipinos...

Recently, Devina Sharma, the real name of Devina Dediva, expressed her apologies to Megan Young and to all Filipinos through Twitter for her racist comments.

Here’s what she twitted:

“Im so sorry @meganbata and to all the Filipinos out there. Sorry. I don’t have a twitter account so I made one just to show my apology.” – @devinadediva666

Furthermore, she expressed:

“Please show me filipinos are willing to forgive someone. That’s all I want. Again, I’m sorry..” – @devinadediva666

“I over think things. I underestimate people. I make mistakes. I regret some things I’ve done. I’m not perfect. No one is.” – @devinadediva666

“Thanks for the filipinos who forgiven me and I’m sorry to those who hates me. I’m sorry again.” – @devinadediva666

“I feel so disgusted. My grandmom is taking care by a filipino nanny. She was so good and kind. :( “ – @devinadediva666

“I already moved on abt what happened. So I’ll stop here and gotta have a new life.” – @devinadediva666

I hope her apology will appease the hearts of million Filipinos who were hurt by Devina’s insulting comments.

Let us forgive her as the Lord forgives. Hate the sin, not the sinner. Dediva deserves the second chance. Let’s accept her apology and move on with our own lives.

Canonization Dates of Blesseds John XXIII and John Paul II set

Finally, Pope Francis announced the date of the canonization of influential Popes of our times, Blessed John XXIII and Blessed John Paul II on April 27, 2014 in the first consistory of his pontificate convened September 30.

The chosen date of the canonization is the Second Sunday of Easter, of the Divine Mercy.

“Divine Mercy Sunday was a special day for Blessed John Paul II, who established the feast in 2001. Its origins date back to Polish nun St. Faustina Kowalska (1905-1938), who had a devotion to the Divine Mercy after an encounter with Jesus. In visions and conversations with Jesus, St. Faustina said Jesus asked her specifically for a feast of Divine Mercy to be established so mankind would take refuge in Jesus. Blessed John Paul II died on the eve of Divine Mercy Sunday in 2005.”1

“Several months ago, the Holy Father paved the way for the canonization of Blessed John XXIII, authorizing the process without the need for a second miracle. The first miracle attributed to John Paul II was the miraculous cure of a French nun who suffered from an irreversible and advanced form of Parkinson’s disease. The second miracle necessary for his canonization that was approved was the healing of a Costa Rican woman who suffered from a brain aneurysm.”2
