Hiphop High Dance Competition Season 7

The Hiphop High Dance Season has began!

The University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos Hiphop High Season 7 will kick-off this January 24, 2014, Friday at the University Gymnasium.

Organized by Mrs. Joselina G. Basa of the Physical Education Department, this inter - school dance competition will showcase the dance prowess and youthful energy of the thirteen (13) participating public and private high schools all over Bacolod City and Negros Occidental.

For this season, these are the participating schools according to their respective competition numbers:

1.    Caduhaan National High School, Cadiz City

2.    Luis Hervias National High School, Bacolod City - FIRST Runner-Up

3.    Ramon Torres National High School, Bago City

4.    La Consolacion School - Gardenville, Bacolod City

5.    Luisa Medel National High School, Bacolod City

6.    Generoso Villanueva National High School

7.    Rafael B. Lacson Memorial High School,  Talisay City

8.    Handumanan National High School, Bacolod City

9.    Colegio San Agustin Bacolod - CHAMPION + Most Disciplined + Best Dance Finale

10.  Brgy. Singcang Airport National High School, Bacolod City

11.  Rufina E. Nessia National High School

12.  Abkasa National High School, Bacolod City - SECOND Runner-Up

13.  Victorias National High School, Bacolod City

Big Cash Prizes await the victors of this dance competition The winning groups will be awarded by the following prizes:

Champion – Php 15,000.00

First Runner-up – Php 10,000.00

Second Runner-up – Php 7,000.00

A Consolation Prize of Php 2,000.00 will be given to each non-winning school and Php 1,000.00 for the Best in Dance Finale.

The show is open to public. Tickets are sold at Php 30.00 pesos at the University Gym Gate.

According to the organizer, the program will start with UNO-R Trivia Challenge at around 4:30 PM. The contest proper will begin at 5.30 PM along with the special performance of the Pilipinas Got Talent Semifinalist and UNO-R BHSM Student CHAEREMON JESS BASA.
