It’s
showtime! Miss Universe 2013 Pageant has officially kicked off in Moscow,
Russia as delegates will keep arriving until Thursday.
Misses
Myanmar, Indonesia, Israel, Poland, USA, Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Gabon,
Lebanon, Korea, Hungary, Finland, Romania, and Namibia are now in Moscow. Some delegates
have already started a round of photographs, registration and fitting of
official wardrobe. Their first official event will be the Welcome Dinner on
Saturday.
The official
residence of the Miss Universe 2013 is the Crowne Plaza World Trade Centre. They
will spend the next few weeks touring, filming, rehearsing, and making new
friends while they prepare to compete for the coveted Miss Universe Diamond
Nexus Crown.
Miss
Universe Philippines Ariella Arida will be arriving Moscow this evening, aboard Aeroflot SU213, ETA in Moscow to her ten-hour flight is 16:55
Moscow or 20:55 MNL time. Ara as one of the early favorites is one to watch out
for.

Norman, a pageant blogger I followed,
commented on Ariella's
flight details from HK to Moscow, saying:
While
a good number of the Miss Universe 2013 candidates are already accounted for,
Miss Philippines Ariella Arida has yet to land in Moscow. And this adds up to
the pressure even more. All eyes will be literally on her as she disembarks from
the plane and heads to Crowne Plaza Moscow to check-in. Some of the ladies are
already anticipating her arrival, like USA's Erin Brady who is intrigued with
all the non-stop Twitter shout-outs about our bet and Indonesia's Whulandary
Herman who has already been exchanging tweets with Ara the past few months.

Yamamay
will create and distribute the collection entitled “Yamamay for Miss Universe,”
which will be initially available in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia and then
expanded into additional territories. The
2014 Summer Collection will debut at the 2013 Miss Universe Pageant, held in
Moscow on November 9th.
